At Ané Skincare & Beauty we only make products we love and use ourselves every day, and our face cloths are definitely a favourite part of my daily routine. We already know that cleansing is the most important step in our skin care routine - without a thorough cleanse we don’t get rid of all the product buildup, pollution, sunscreen, dirt and impurities that accumulate though the day, or during the regenerative processes overnight. This can lead to dull skin, premature ageing, clogged pores and breakouts. It also means that the rest of our (often more expensive) skincare products will not absorb as well and we won’t get the results we want from our routine. Not properly cleansing the skin regularly can result in issues such as breakouts, dehydration, a blotchy complexion and signs of premature ageing. It also reduces the effectiveness of the follow on products in your routine. I use my face cloths both morning and evening and I know I get the best out of my cleansing routine by adding them to the process. It's quick and easy, and a joy to use. Read more Suggested Use for Double Sided Face Cleansing Cloths FOR MAKEUP REMOVAL & CLEANSE With a lukewarm, dampened cloth use the soft microfibre side to gently wipe away your makeup and repeat until it’s gone. You can complete this step with water only, or you can use a face wash of your choice, for an example a balm, cream or gel cleanser - and wipe it away with the cloth. On occasions when I don’t use a balm cleanser I use water only with the cloth. FOR A GENTLE POLISH Once your face is cleansed, use the damp cloth’s muslin side to very gently sweep over your face, avoiding the sensitive eye area. No need to rub, tug or scrub. The microfibre side is suitable for the sensitive eye area. HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FACE CLOTHS Hand wash in warm water or machine wash 30-40°CDo not tumble dry. Air dry only.Do not iron.Avoid using bleach and fabric softener.Wash with similar colours. FREQUENCY Depending on how much makeup and product I remove I alternate my cloths every 2-3 days. If I've removed a full face of evening makeup I may use my cloth only once and pop it in the wash. Read more
